How can I participate to a Step Together Challenge?

To participate in a Step Together Challenge, you have to go under your Challenge tab on the Optimity app.

You can be in as many Step Together Challenges at the same time as you’d like with different friends. Each Step Together Challenge is limited to 1 friend. If you haven’t added any friends yet, check out our Facebook group as a good starting place: https://www.facebook.com/groups/optimitycommunity

Make sure you have a step-tracking device or your phone's native health app connected so that we can successfully track your steps. Remember that you must open Optimity once a day in order to sync your steps to the app.

What will be my reward?

If you and your partner collectively reach your daily step goal 10 times in 7 days, you will successfully complete the challenge. Successfully completing a Step Together Challenge will earn you 200 Gems. Once you and your partner collectively achieve 10 step goals, gems will be automatically awarded to your account.

Each week, you are able to earn a maximum of 2,000 Gems. Maximums are based on a Monday to Sunday week so you’ll be able to earn more Gems starting on Monday if you hit your maximum.

Step Goal

Each individual's step goal is personalized based on their weekly step average. Once you or your partner have reached your personalized daily step goal, you'll see a checkmark appear on the day you've completed.
