Hello there! At Optimity, we take your privacy very seriously. We never share your personal information without your express written permission. We want you to have control over your personal information so we’ve added the ability for you to close your account and delete all of your information from within the app.
It’s important to note that if you ask us to delete your data, we will completely remove your personal information and your activity data will be anonymized. Once that process has been completed, your account cannot be recovered. We will not be able to restore your gems, friends or activity data if you change your mind.
Here are the instructions:
1. Locate the “Profile” section of your Optimity app, and tap on your profile picture in the top-left corner of the home screen to open your profile.
2. Then tap on “Account” to access your account settings.
3. You should see a “Delete My Account” option at the bottom of the screen, go ahead and tap on this.
4. This informational screen will appear. If you do not want to delete your account, simply tap the arrow in the top left corner to go back. If you do want to delete your account, tap the blue button at the bottom that reads "Yes, Delete My Account".
5. You will then receive a pop-up, confirming whether you want to proceed with the account deletion. If you want to delete your account (last chance to back out), click the blue button that reads "Yes, Delete My Account". There may be a small delay while we delete your information and then you’ll be logged out.
6. You will then receive a confirmation screen that the account deletion process is complete, and will be taken back to the Optimity home screen.
