There may be some additional issues that are common for Google Fit and that you could be experiencing as well - here are some troubleshooting steps:
1. Biometric sensors need to be enabled at the phone level. This varies by phone vendor. If this was disabled then all steps apps would be showing 0.
2. Google fit needs to be enabled to track steps. "Track your activities" needs to be enabled as well. For instructions on how to enable Google Fit Sync on Optimity, please follow these instructions: https://streamable.com/jf9r36
3. If you have multiple google accounts on your phone then you must be tracking steps on the same account that is connected to Optimity. When you connect to google fit in our app it will say which account it is on the permissions page. Sometimes that permissions page lets you select the accounts, sometimes not. Also sometimes if you have multiple google accounts, Google Fit will only track steps against one of them so it needs to be connected to the account that is tracking steps.
4. Can you please try to disconnect and reconnect your Google Fit integration within the Optimity app? To do so, you can tap on the "ON" button next to the integration, and then press on the 'OFF" button again.
We hope this information will help you solve your issue.
If you are still experiencing this issue, please send us a screen shot of your of your Google Fit Step Trends Page, specifically the weekly breakdown. This will allow us to further investigate the issue as we send this information over to one of our engineers.
